Posts like this one make me want to quit my job.

Then I REALLY won't tell you about the morning we had before we left for the gardens.

Was it wonderful…coffee and croissants on the patio as Ella played on the swing set in the morning sun?

close

She helped me make scrambled eggs and croissants, I had coffee - she had milk. We ate in the kitchen with morning light streaming in the back door, dog asleep on the mat and NPR on the radio. Our hair sticking up everywhere.

A League of Their Own happens to be one of our favorite movies. We quote plenty of lines from it in our house. My hubby used the famous Tom Hanks' line just yesterday as my middle child cried during T-Ball practice. "There's no crying in baseball." It just made everyone laugh. I would love to have met the Rockford Peaches.

All these little leagers were going up to the Peaches and having them sign their baseballs, it was so cute. The ladies were loving it too.
