Lone Wolf

I’m going grocery shopping today at the big grocery in the next town over. by. my. self. They have wonderful produce and today I’ll be able to REALLY shop without anyone in the cart manhandling the fruit before we get to check out. I’m going to get a cappuccino for the way home and on my radio someone will NOT sing about kitty cats and the number five and I’m going to turn it up very loud – maybe the Kinks or Marilyn Manson. I may even challenge some other unsuspecting lady to a minivan drag race on the way home.

Ahahahah! Me alone in the car always involves loud grown-up music and driving waaaaay too fast! Glad to see I'm not the only one!

I can think of few things I enjoy more than being alone in my car.

Do you ever think, like me, that life has really gone downhill when you're excited to go to the grocery store, just because you're alone?!
I love your blog, by the way. Great writing and pictures!

Awesome! I love being able to go places by myself. Not having to lug around any kids, keep track of sippy cups or baby dolls.

Ah, the simple pleasures of motherhood!

I always bring the tiniest purse you've ever seen - in it:

that is all.
