For the first time in five and a half years I am alone for seven hours. So far I've accomplished everything on my list. It's only 9:41am.

It is an emotional day. Seven hours! Is that how it works there? That is amazing. Think of all you can achieve. Big change but you will get used to it fairly quickly.
In Ireland they go to school at the age of four and they are in school from 8.40am to 1.20am. It stays this way until they are seven and then they are in until 2.20pm. Seven whole hours sounds like heaven. (I do love my child...sounds like I am trying to get rid of him.) Anyway, hope it all works out well for Ella. I am sure she will be fine. Take care, Olivia

Forgot to say kick back tonight and have a glass or more of wine. It is an achievement to get Ella to this stage.
I was a bit teary eyed initially ...feelings of my baby is all grown up etc. But that passes.
Clearly, you need a longer list.

School? Full day school? I remember when she was still in a high chair. Where have the years gone??
