I’m still alive and keeping warm. It is 8 below today and our furnace is pretty much running every 10 minutes to keep up. We have space heaters everywhere and I am doing gobs of work with my computer, which always makes my hands cold. I’m not sure why, but I’m still waiting for someone to invent that heated mouse – or even a heated mouse pad. It couldn’t be that hard.

I may need that heated mouse. I'm doing a lot of work today with my mouse and my hands are freezing, just like they were all weekend while I was crocheting. Our furnace ran pretty much continuously all weekend, even though we had turned it down so that it wouldn't. We finally decided that 65 was the lowest we could go and ignored the feeling of dread that's creeping in at the thought of next month's gas bill.
